The section is the privileged place of emotional and relational reference in which girls and boys acquire safety and develop autonomy. It is designed for and with children and is divided into specific and diversified spaces where girls and boys play, discover and experiment together with their peers and educators.
In the section there is a space dedicated to resting for girls and boys, a space for lunch and adjacent toilets. The educators, in preparing these spaces and these moments, guarantee an organization of the educational day that is careful to encourage the child's actions and self-care, in the constant presence and accompaniment of the adult.
In addition to the Section, girls and boys have access to various educational experiences in the common areas of the School: the "theater" space which allows dramatization and motor experiences, the "cabana" space which represents an intimate place for reading and gathering activities, and for continuity activities, with the other services of the headquarters, in subgroups of children, a space adjacent to the section for the reception of parents and children, a garden, a covered "hallway" space outside, to experiment with different languages and contexts of learning.
For our Spring Section, laboratory spaces dedicated to experimentation and play with deconstructed materials, a space set up for experiments with color, and a space dedicated to symbolic play are available.
Exploring the "outside", be it a courtyard or the school garden, means getting closer and exploring the cycle of life and the seasons, researching nature, gradually getting to know the world that lives there, to understand it and learn to take care of it.
Girls and boys can enjoy a large garden and a covered outdoor space.
