The section is the privileged place of emotional and relational reference in which girls and boys acquire safety and develop autonomy. It is designed for and with children and is divided into specific and diversified spaces where girls and boys play, discover and experiment together with their peers and educators.
In the section there is a space dedicated to resting for girls and boys, a space for lunch and adjacent toilets. The educators, in preparing these spaces and these moments, guarantee an organization of the educational day that is careful to encourage the child's actions and self-care, with the constant presence and accompaniment of the adult.
The common spaces are contexts conceived and designed to accompany girls and boys to explore "beyond" their own section, sharing their use at scheduled times, with children and educators from other sections and of other ages with a view to a continuous experience, aspect of specific importance in the design of the Spring Section. In the common areas, laboratories, ateliers and installations are offered that accompany girls and boys to experiment with different languages and learning contexts.
In addition to the section, girls and boys have access to various educational experiences in the common areas: "micro-macro construction" laboratory, painting studio, motor space, library and garden.
For our Spring Section, laboratory spaces are available dedicated to the manipulation and experimentation of heterogeneous materials and to graphic-pictorial activities. There is a library and a motor space.
Exploring the "outside", be it a courtyard or the school garden, means getting closer and exploring the cycle of life and the seasons, researching nature, gradually getting to know the world we live in, to understand it and learn to take care of it.
Girls and boys can enjoy the garden.
