The section is the privileged place of emotional and relational reference in which girls and boys acquire safety and develop autonomy. It is designed for and with children and is divided into specific and diversified spaces where girls and boys play, discover and experiment together with peers and educators.
Our four sections are called Rainbow, Moon, Sun and Stars.
Each section directly overlooks the garden and the school common room.
In the section there is a space dedicated to resting for girls and boys, a reading space, spaces with natural materials. In front of each section there is a space equipped with tables which is used for lunch and for structured and gaming activities adjacent to the section.
The common spaces are designed as places to welcome adults and children and are designed to accompany girls and boys in exploring contexts and places even "beyond" their own section. In the common areas, laboratories, ateliers and installations are offered which help girls and boys to experiment with different languages and develop multiple learnings.
In our school, the hall on the ground floor is organized for symbolic play corners, the one on the upper floor for construction activities with macrostructures.
There is a room for physical activity, the salt laboratory, a "magic room" used as a reuse laboratory, spaces for playing with water, a painting space with the preparation of vertical painting
Exploring the "outside", be it a courtyard, the school garden or a neighborhood street, means getting closer and exploring the cycle of life and the seasons, researching nature, gradually getting to know the world we live in, to understand it and learn to take care of it.
There is a large garden in the school.
