The section is the privileged place of emotional and relational reference in which girls and boys acquire safety and develop autonomy. It is designed for and with children and is divided into specific and diversified spaces where girls and boys play, discover and experiment together with peers and educators.
Our 5 sections are called: dolphins, turtles, seagulls, cats and owls.
Each section directly overlooks the school garden and the school common room.
In the section, a space dedicated to resting for girls and boys is set up daily.
The common spaces are designed as places to welcome adults and children and are designed to accompany girls and boys in exploring contexts and places even "beyond" their own section. In the common areas, laboratories, ateliers and installations are offered which help girls and boys to experiment with different languages and develop multiple learnings.
In our School, some laboratories are located in the space adjacent to the section, two others are set up along a corridor and are the creative laboratory and the scientific one.
In the center of the hall is the motor space. The library has its own dedicated space.
Exploring the "outside", be it a courtyard, the school garden or a neighborhood street, means getting closer and exploring the cycle of life and the seasons, researching nature, gradually getting to know the world we live in, to understand it and learn to take care of it.
