The section is the privileged place of emotional and relational reference in which girls and boys acquire safety and develop autonomy. It is designed for and with children and is divided into specific and diversified spaces where girls and boys play, discover and experiment together with their peers, teachers and educators.
Our 4 sections are called Navigators, Dreamers, Explorers, Inventors.
Each section has two doors, one directly overlooks the school garden, the other onto the large entrance hall, the school's common area.
In the section there is a space dedicated to the rest of girls and boys. Outside the section, a space dedicated to lunch has been set up.
The common spaces are designed as places to welcome adults and children and are designed to accompany girls and boys in exploring contexts and places even "beyond" their own section. In the common areas, laboratories, ateliers and installations are offered which help girls and boys to experiment with different languages and develop multiple learnings.
In our school, the entrance hall is organized to accommodate an exhibition space for educational paths and the children's personal lockers. There is a library space, a motor space and a laboratory space.
Exploring the "outside", be it a courtyard, the school garden or a neighborhood street, means approaching and exploring the cycle of life and the seasons, researching nature, gradually getting to know the world we live in, to understand it and learn to take care of it.
In the school there is a garden, several garden areas, one for each section, and gazebos set up as outdoor sections.
