The section is the privileged place of emotional and relational reference in which girls and boys acquire safety and develop autonomy. It is designed for and with children and is divided into specific and diversified spaces where girls and boys play, discover and experiment together with peers and educators. Our two sections are called Luna and Sole. Each section directly overlooks the internal courtyard of the school and a common corridor. In one section there is a space dedicated to resting for girls and boys.
The common spaces are designed as places to welcome adults and children and are designed to accompany girls and boys in exploring contexts and places even "beyond" their own section.
In the common areas, laboratories, ateliers and installations are offered which help girls and boys to experiment with different languages and develop multiple learnings.
In our school, the lounge is organized into corners where there are various structured and non-structured games. There is a library, a "MUBA" space set up with unstructured material, a space for experimenting with yellow flour and a laboratory for graphic/pictorial and creative activities with many materials.
Exploring the "outside", be it a courtyard, the school garden or a neighborhood street, means getting closer and exploring the cycle of life and the seasons, researching nature, gradually getting to know the world we live in, to understand it and learn to take care of it.
In the school there is a courtyard with 2 planted spaces in which wooden containers for the vegetable garden are placed and also an area in front of a section with wooden tubs containing natural materials (sand, shells, stones...).
