The section is the privileged place of emotional and relational reference in which girls and boys acquire safety and develop autonomy. It is designed for and with children and is divided into specific and diversified spaces where girls and boys play, discover and experiment together with peers and educators.
Our four sections are called: Yellow, Green, Light Blue and Blue.
Each section directly overlooks the school garden and a common corridor, which leads to the laboratories and the lounge. In each section there is a space dedicated to resting for girls and boys. Each section is internally organized into spaces dedicated to different activities (house/symbolic space, floor games, table games, creative space/atelier).
The common spaces are designed as places to welcome adults and children and are designed to accompany girls and boys in exploring contexts and places even "beyond" their own section. In the common areas, laboratories, ateliers and installations are offered which help girls and boys to experiment with different languages and develop multiple learnings.
In our school, the hall is organized to accommodate various activities: recreational-motor games, medium-large group activities, small group activities. There is a library, an atelier/laboratory, a cinema space and two small manipulation laboratories.
Exploring the "outside", be it a courtyard, the school garden or a neighborhood street, means getting closer and exploring the cycle of life and the seasons, researching nature, gradually getting to know the world we live in, to understand it and learn to take care of it.
In the School there is an equipped garden, which all sections overlook.
