The section is the privileged place of emotional and relational reference in which girls and boys acquire safety and develop autonomy. It is designed for and with children and is divided into specific and diversified spaces where girls and boys play, discover and experiment together with peers and educators.
Our two sections are called Dolphins and Shells.
Each section overlooks a common corridor.
In the section there is a space dedicated to the rest of girls and boys who feel the need for it.
The common spaces are designed as places to welcome adults and children and are designed to accompany girls and boys in exploring contexts and places even "beyond" their own section. In the common areas, laboratories, ateliers and installations are offered which help girls and boys to experiment with different languages and develop multiple learnings.
In our school, the laboratory is organized with natural and recycled materials accessible to children. The specific context of the nursery school surrounded by greenery which has a large garden gives richness and value to the educational and didactic courses with a "nature" theme.
There is also a library in the school.
Exploring the "outside", be it a courtyard, the school garden or a neighborhood street, means getting closer and exploring the cycle of life and the seasons, researching nature, gradually getting to know the world we live in, to understand it and learn to take care of it.
The garden is the reference context for the school, which initiates educational and planning paths using this resource as a possibility to bring boys and girls closer to an education "in nature" as much as possible.
The green space is used in sharing with the nursery and primary school which together constitute a center for children and an educational context 0/6.
