The section is the privileged place of emotional and relational reference in which girls and boys acquire safety and develop autonomy. It is designed for and with children and is divided into specific and diversified spaces where girls and boys play, discover and experiment together with peers and educators.
Our 7 sections are called with the names of the colors: Orange, Blue, Yellow, Red, Light Blue, Pink, Green. 5 sections directly overlook the school garden, while 2 sections overlook the corridor and access the garden from it.
In the section there is a space dedicated to the relaxation of girls and boys who feel the need for it.
The common spaces are designed as places to welcome adults and children and are designed to accompany girls and boys in exploring contexts and places even "beyond" their own section. In the common areas, laboratories, ateliers and installations are offered which help girls and boys to experiment with different languages and develop multiple learnings.
In our school the hall is organized into spaces and laboratories. There is a painting atelier, a creativity laboratory, a motor space and a theater space; as well as thematic micro spaces that are set up following the educational project.
Exploring the "outside", be it a courtyard, the school garden or a neighborhood street, means getting closer and exploring the cycle of life and the seasons, researching nature, gradually getting to know the world we live in, to understand it and learn to take care of it.
The school has a large garden used by the children for most of the year.
