The section is the privileged place of emotional and relational reference in which girls and boys acquire safety and develop autonomy. It is designed for and with children and is divided into specific and diversified spaces where girls and boys play, discover and experiment together with peers and educators.
Our 10 sections are called: Orchids, Jasmine, Clouds, Rainbow, Poppies, Blueberries, Daisies, Snails, Sunflowers, Tulips.
Each section at number 18 directly overlooks the school garden. The sections at number 22 overlook the school's common room.
In the section there is a space dedicated to the rest of girls and boys.
The common spaces are designed as places to welcome adults and children and are designed to accompany girls and boys in exploring contexts and places even "beyond" their own section. In the common areas, laboratories, ateliers and installations are offered which help girls and boys to experiment with different languages and develop multiple learnings.
In our school the halls are organized for workshops. There are spaces with manipulative proposals, a large tub with sand, a theater space.
There is a library, a motor space and a creative laboratory.
Exploring the "outside", be it a courtyard, the school garden or a neighborhood street, means getting closer and exploring the cycle of life and the seasons, researching nature, gradually getting to know the world we live in, to understand it and learn to take care of it.
In the school there is a large garden with play options and a vegetable garden cultivated by children and educators.
