Municipality 4 – Educational Unit 25

Milan, via Oglio 25

The common spaces are designed as places to welcome adults and children and are designed to accompany girls and boys in exploring contexts and places even "beyond" their own section. In the common areas, laboratories, ateliers and installations are offered which help girls and boys to experiment with different languages and develop multiple learnings.
In our school the hall is organized for workshops: on both floors there is a space for movement games, flanked on the ground floor by the library and on the first floor by the painting laboratory.

The OGLIO 25 nursery school welcomes girls and boys between 3 and 6 years old divided into 8 sections spread over two floors.

Each section is made up of a maximum of 24 girls and boys and has two reference educators.
In our school the 8 sections are "heterogeneous", that is, made up of girls and boys aged 3, 4 and 5. Each section has its own dedicated space.
In addition to the sections, girls and boys access various educational experiences in the common areas of the service: the lounge, the painting/graphic design laboratory, the library, the motor play space and the garden.

The educational college, coordinated by the Manager, is responsible for the planning and implementation of the educational paths promoted during the year. In the presence of girls or boys with disabilities, the presence of educational support staff is expected.

The auxiliary staff ensures the care and cleaning of the school spaces.

Lunch is provided by Milano Ristorazione which manages its transport and daily delivery.

The section is the privileged place of emotional and relational reference in which girls and boys acquire safety and develop autonomy. It is designed for and with children and is divided into specific and diversified spaces where girls and boys play, discover and experiment together with their peers, teachers and educators.
Our 8 sections are called Yellow, Light Blue, Blue, Red, Pink, Orange, Green and Turquoise.
The sections on the ground floor directly overlook the school garden and the common room and the sections on the first floor overlook the common room.
In the section there is a space dedicated to resting for girls and boys.

Exploring the "outside", be it a courtyard, the school garden or a neighborhood street, means approaching and exploring the cycle of life and the seasons, researching nature, gradually getting to know the world we live in, to understand it and learn to take care of it.
In the school there is a large garden that surrounds the building.
