The section is the privileged place of emotional and relational reference in which girls and boys acquire safety and develop autonomy. It is designed for and with children and is divided into specific and diversified spaces where girls and boys play, discover and experiment together with peers and educators.
Our four sections are called: Sapphires, Diamonds, Emeralds and Rubies.
Each section directly overlooks the school garden, as well as the common room.
Each section is organized by activity spaces (house/symbolic space, floor games, table games, creative space/atelier). In each section there is a space dedicated to resting for girls and boys.
The common spaces are designed as places to welcome adults and children and are designed to accompany girls and boys in exploring contexts and places even "beyond" their own section. In the common areas, laboratories, ateliers and installations are offered which help girls and boys to experiment with different languages and develop multiple learnings.
In our School, the hall is designed to host various activities: large constructions, motor courses, auditorium for shows and films. Various experiences are organized within the laboratory classroom: explorations and experiments, manipulation. There is also a reading space.
Exploring the "outside", be it a courtyard, the school garden or a neighborhood street, means getting closer and exploring the cycle of life and the seasons, researching nature, gradually getting to know the world we live in, to understand it and learn to take care of it.
In the School there is a vast garden, partially equipped and covered, which surrounds the building on three sides and to which all sections have direct access.
