The section is the privileged place of emotional and relational reference in which girls and boys acquire safety and develop autonomy. It is designed for and with children and is divided into specific and diversified spaces where boys and girls play, discover and experiment together with their peers and educators.
Our 5 sections are called Orange, Yellow, Rainbow, Green, Blue.
Each section directly overlooks the school garden on one side and a common corridor on the other.
In the section there is a space dedicated to the rest of girls and boys.
The common spaces are designed as places to welcome adults and children and are designed to accompany girls and boys in exploring contexts and places even "beyond" their own section. In the common areas, laboratories, ateliers and installations are offered which help girls and boys to experiment with different languages and develop multiple learnings.
In our school, the refectories are positioned along the corridor onto which the sections overlook. There is a motor space and a small room used for structured and destructured symbolic play,
Exploring the "outside", be it a courtyard, the school garden or a neighborhood street, means getting closer and exploring the cycle of life and the seasons, researching nature, gradually getting to know the world we live in, to understand it and learn to take care of it.
In the school there is a garden with an equipped play area.
