The Armed Forces 59 Nursery School welcomes girls and boys between 3 and 6 years old divided into 8 sections spread over two corridors.

Each section is made up of a maximum of 25 girls and boys and has two reference educators.

In our school, all sections are "heterogeneous", that is, made up of girls and boys aged 3, 4 and 5.

Each section has its own dedicated space.

In addition to the sections, girls and boys have access to various educational experiences in the common areas of the service: lounge, laboratories/ateliers, library/reading space, garden, terrace.

The educational college, coordinated by the Manager, is responsible for the planning and implementation of the educational paths promoted during the year. In the presence of girls or boys with disabilities, the presence of educational support staff is expected.

The auxiliary staff ensures the care and cleaning of the School spaces

The section is the privileged place of emotional and relational reference in which girls and boys acquire safety and develop autonomy. It is designed for and with children and is divided into specific and diversified spaces where girls and boys play, discover and experiment together with peers and educators.

Our 8 sections are called: Butterflies, Fish, Giraffes, Hedgehogs, Puppies, Foxes, Penguins, Squirrels.

Each section overlooks the school garden on one side which is accessed via steps and on the other, onto a common corridor.

In the section there is a space dedicated to the rest of girls and boys.

The common spaces are designed as places to welcome adults and children and are designed to accompany girls and boys in exploring contexts and places even "beyond" their own section. In the common areas, laboratories, ateliers and installations are offered which help girls and boys to experiment with different languages and develop multiple learnings.

In our School, the hall is organized with a motor space with games for tactile and movement paths and there is also a structure for theater workshops. In the School there is also a library, a space for handling materials such as sand, a "Muba" space for creative play with recycled materials, a "greenhouse" space, a parents' reception area where there is documentation.

Exploring the "outside", be it a courtyard, the school garden or a neighborhood street, means getting closer and exploring the cycle of life and the seasons, researching nature, gradually getting to know the world we live in, to understand it and learn to take care of it.

In the School there is a common garden divided into 4 areas with movement and climbing games which are accessed according to a weekly shift. Furthermore, all 8 sections have an outdoor classroom in the front with tables, games, material for exploration/collection/observation activities, trays with natural materials. There is a vegetable garden in the school.
