Milan - via Ciriè, 10 / Girola, 4

The Ciriè-Girola Nursery School welcomes girls and boys between 3 and 6 years old divided into 6 sections located in two separate pavilions (2 sections in the Ciriè pavilion and 4 sections in the Girola pavilion).

Each section is made up of a maximum of 25 girls and boys in the Ciriè pavilion and a maximum of 23 children in the Girola pavilion. Each section has two reference educators.

In our school, 2 sections are "heterogeneous", i.e. made up of girls and boys aged 3, 4 and 5, and 4 sections are "bi-age", i.e. made up of girls and boys of only two ages.

Each section has its own dedicated space.

There is also a spring section that welcomes children aged 2 to 3 years in the Ciriè pavilion.

In addition to the sections, girls and boys have access to various educational experiences in the common areas of the service: lounge, atelier, library, garden and vegetable garden.

The educational college, coordinated by the Manager, is responsible for the planning and implementation of the educational paths promoted during the year. In the presence of girls or boys with disabilities, the presence of educational support staff is expected.

The auxiliary staff ensures the care and cleaning of the school spaces.

Lunch is provided by Milano Ristorazione which manages its transport and daily delivery.

The section is the privileged place of emotional and relational reference in which girls and boys acquire safety and develop autonomy. It is designed for and with children and is divided into specific and diversified spaces where girls and boys play, discover and experiment together with peers and educators.

Our 6 sections are called Purple, Pink (at the Ciriè pavilion), Blue, Rainbow, Orange and Yellow (at the Girola pavilion).

Each section directly overlooks the school garden and the respective common room in the pavilion.

In each structure there is a space dedicated to the rest of girls and boys.

The common spaces are designed as places to welcome adults and children and are designed to accompany girls and boys in exploring contexts and places even "beyond" their own section. In the common areas, laboratories, ateliers and installations are offered which help girls and boys to experiment with different languages and develop multiple learnings.

In our school, the hall is organized for workshops dedicated to experimenting with different materials available and experiencing/observing natural elements.

There is a library, a motor space and various play spaces set up to encourage the free expression of girls and boys.

Exploring the "outside", be it a courtyard, the school garden or a neighborhood street, means getting closer and exploring the cycle of life and the seasons, researching nature, gradually getting to know the world we live in, to understand it and learn to take care of it.

In the School there is a large garden with a space dedicated to manipulation and a vegetable garden.
