The section represents the space where girls and boys spend the moments of greatest emotional involvement during the educational day: educators take care of girls and boys and support their growth path through the design of spaces and the setting up of experiences educational.
Our nursery has a single section which is divided into three rooms:
- Sun room: symbolic game, reading and color and manipulation workshop;
- Nuvole room: decanting and micro decanting, "laboratoriando" (activities with recycled materials) and oculo-manual and fine motor activities;
- Stars room: motor activity, heuristic game and space dedicated to rest.
In the section there is a space for lunch and a space for care and hygiene.
The educators, in preparing these spaces and these moments, guarantee an organization of the educational day that is careful to encourage the child's actions, the exploration of spaces and materials and self-care, with the presence and constant accompaniment of the adult.
The section directly overlooks the garden.
Our nursery consists of only one section therefore there are no common or shared spaces.
«Going out», living in larger spaces than the section space, gradually exploring the garden or courtyard means expanding the possibilities of discovery and experimentation and offering gradually more articulated and complex educational paths.
In the nursery there is a garden equipped with tricycles, slides, motor games and tubs for pouring games and water games.
