The section represents the space where girls and boys spend the moments of greatest emotional involvement during the educational day: educators take care of girls and boys and support their growth path through the design of spaces and the setting up of experiences educational.
Our section is called Rainbow.
There is a space dedicated to resting for girls and boys, a space for lunch and a space for care and hygiene. The educators, in preparing these spaces and these moments, guarantee an organization of the educational day that is careful to encourage the child's actions, the exploration of spaces and materials and self-care, with the presence and constant accompaniment of the adult.
The section directly overlooks the garden.
The common spaces are designed as places to welcome adults and children and are designed to accompany girls and boys in exploring, gradually over the course of the year, contexts and places even "beyond" their own section. The common spaces are designed to promote motor, sensory and laboratory experiences consistent with the developmental stages of girls and boys and gradual over time.
In our nursery there are spaces dedicated to painting, the symbolic and decanting. There is a library, a motor space (spaces shared by the whole school: nursery school, spring section and nursery).
«Going out», living in larger spaces than the section space, gradually exploring the garden or courtyard means expanding the possibilities of discovery and experimentation and offering gradually more articulated and complex educational paths.
