Municipality 3 - Contracted municipal nursery*

The nursery schools under contract are educational services provided in structures owned by the Municipality of Milan, the management of which is entrusted to an Economic Operator who won the tender, who adopts the operating rules and pedagogical lines of directly managed municipal nursery schools.

The Feltre nursery welcomes girls and boys aged between 12 and 36 months and is spread over a single ground floor.
The 2 sections are organized in such a way as to accommodate heterogeneous groups of "medium-large" children (children between 12 and 36 months) in balanced numbers that respond to the specific needs of the age group.
In addition to the sections, girls and boys access various educational experiences in the common areas of the nursery: laboratory/atelier space, library/reading space, garden.
Lunch is provided by Milano Ristorazione which manages its transport and daily delivery. Lunch is administered by the educational staff who accompanies girls and boys on their journey of self-knowledge and sensorial experimentation.

The educational college, coordinated by the Manager, is responsible for the planning and implementation of the educational paths promoted during the year. In the presence of girls or boys with disabilities, the presence of educational support staff is expected.

The auxiliary staff ensures the care and cleaning of the school spaces.

The section represents the space where girls and boys spend the moments of greatest emotional involvement during the educational day: educators take care of girls and boys and support their growth path through the design of spaces and the setting up of experiences educational.

Our sections are called Sunflowers and Tulips.
For each section there is a space dedicated to resting for girls and boys, a space for lunch and a space for care and hygiene. The educators, in preparing these spaces and these moments, guarantee an organization of the educational day that is careful to encourage the child's actions, the exploration of spaces and materials and self-care, with the presence and constant accompaniment of the adult.

The sections access the garden, leaving from the main entrance of the nursery.

The common spaces are designed as places to welcome adults and children and are designed to accompany girls and boys in exploring, gradually over the course of the year, contexts and places even "beyond" their own section. The common spaces are designed to promote motor, sensory and laboratory experiences consistent with the developmental stages of girls and boys and gradual over time.
In our nursery, there are laboratory spaces dedicated to construction with recycled material, exploration of natural elements, graphic-pictorial and motor experiences. The open space, in addition to dedicating space to moments of welcome and reunion, offers a space for reading, a symbolic one dedicated to disguises and care, and one for adults.

«Going out», living in larger spaces than the space of the section, gradually exploring the garden or courtyard means expanding the possibilities of discovery and experimentation and offering educational paths that are gradually more and more articulated and complex.
In the nursery there is a structured garden with four corners: mud kitchen, racking, recycled material, motor
