The section represents the space where girls and boys spend the moments of greatest emotional involvement during the educational day: educators take care of girls and boys and support their growth path through the design of spaces and the setting up of experiences educational.
Our sections are called the Blue section and the Lilac section.
For each section there is a space dedicated to resting for girls and boys, a space for lunch and a space for care and hygiene. The educators, in preparing these spaces and these moments, guarantee an organization of the educational day that is careful to encourage the child's actions, the exploration of spaces and materials and self-care, with the presence and constant accompaniment of the adult.
The Lilac section directly overlooks the terrace which in turn is connected to the nursery garden.
The outdoor spaces are however easily accessible from all sections.
The common spaces are designed as places to welcome adults and children and are designed to accompany girls and boys in exploring, gradually over the course of the year, contexts and places even "beyond" their own section. The common spaces are designed to promote motor, sensory and laboratory experiences consistent with the developmental stages of girls and boys and gradual over time.
In our nursery, there is a library, a multifunctional atelier (painting, decanting, manipulation...) and a laboratory for heuristic games.
«Going out», living in larger spaces than the space of the section, gradually exploring the garden or courtyard means expanding the possibilities of discovery and experimentation and offering educational paths that are gradually more and more articulated and complex.
The nursery is surrounded by a large park for the exclusive use of the children of the service, full of trees which make it a cool and comfortable environment in the summer season during which even lunch often takes place outside. Furthermore, the nursery has a very spacious terrace that the educators use to offer activities and moments of play in the open air.
