Porta Vittoria - Integrated Intervention Programme

The Integrated Intervention Program includes 72.132 square meters of gross floor area, of which: 21.639 square meters are residential; 18.755 m31.738 commercial; XNUMX mXNUMX tertiary / hospitality.
The creation of the Great European Library of Information and Culture – BEIC is also planned.

The new Territorial Government Plan, adopted by the City Council on 05 March 2019, confirms the transitional rule for the area which will allow the completion of the interventions according to the original programme, as modified by the Supervisory Board in 2011.

The project involves the creation of:

  • buildings for urban functions, already built: residential, commercial, office;
  • a system of green spaces and an Urban Park;
  • a multipurpose sports center.

Il 27 March 2001 The Program Agreement is signed between the Lombardy Region and the Municipality of Milan for the implementation of the Integrated Intervention Plan relating to the urban redevelopment of the areas of the disused Porta Vittoria railway yard.

Il 22 January 2001 the Program Agreement is signed between the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities, the Lombardy Region, the University of Milan and the Polytechnic of Milan relating to the "Grande Biblioteca Milano - European Library of Information and Culture".

Il 19 April 2000 the P.R.U.S.S.T (Urban Redevelopment and Sustainable Territorial Development Programme) called “Porta Vittoria Railway Link, valuable functions and urban redevelopment” is approved.
