The scope of the Integrated Intervention Program involves a total surface area of approximately m16.300. XNUMX between the southern bank of the Naviglio Grande (to the north), Via Barsanti (to the east) and Via Lombardini (to the west) and the Baden Powell park (to the south). In the portion of the area attested on the Ripa di Porta Ticinese and between via Barsanti and Autari (existing section) the PII envisaged the recovery of the most valuable buildings already used for residential purposes and the demolition of all the other buildings, of of little architectural value and already used for artisanal and industrial activities. The portion attested on via Lombardini includes already municipal areas subject to redevelopment for the expansion of the adjacent Baden Powell Park and the completion of the road network.

In particular, the project includes:

the construction of two new buildings intended for residential purposes, partly subsidized, and for functions compatible with residence;
the recovery of two buildings, owned by the municipality, to be used for service activities;
the redevelopment of the existing sections of Via Barsanti and Autari;
the construction of the new section of via Autari up to the connection with via Lombardini;
the reclamation and greenery of the municipal area located on via Lombardini.

Status of the proceedings

All public and private interventions are concluded.

Characteristics of the intervention

The intervention is characterized by the planivolumetric distribution with an orthogonal trend with respect to the course of the Naviglio guaranteeing, between the two new buildings, a visual cone between the Ripa di Porta Ticinese and the Baden Powell park; the head of the building overlooking the Ripa recovers and incorporates the existing two-storey building in the curtain; the two newly built buildings in line have heights between 4 and 6 floors.

The entire scope of the Program is subject to a landscape restriction imposed on 28.4.1993 by the Provincial Commission of Milan for the protection of Natural Beauty, to protect a vast urban area between the Naviglio Grande and the Naviglio Pavese.
