Urban transport is facing challenges advanced by the rapid diffusion of new technologies and socioeconomic and demographic changes. The Interreg ADRION TRIBUTE project ("integrated and innovative actions for more sustainable urban mobility") aims to address these challenges by seeking efficient solutions and mobility services in line with citizens' needs.

TRIBUTE includes the identification of target groups, context analysis and technical requirements, necessary to enable the inclusive use of innovative mobility solutions. The objective is to reach an agreement on a Joint Transnational Strategy for Sustainable and Innovative Mobility in the Cities of the Adriatic-Ionian Region.

Innovative methods and tools, such as Living Lab, will be adopted to implement pilot actions to promote sustainable mobility in the following eight project partner cities: Ljubljana (Slovenia), Maribor (Slovenia), Milan (IT), Novi Sad (Serbia) , Patras (Greece), Podgorica (Montenegro), Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Zagreb (Croatia). By identifying and involving key stakeholders in the public, business and academic sectors, as well as citizens themselves, TRIBUTE will promote public transport and active travel modes and at the same time contribute to reducing individual transport in cities of the Adriatic-Ionian Region.

In line with the objectives of the project, the City of Milan is committed to implementing its own Living Lab by involving the mobility players who come into play in conjunction with major events, with the aim of introducing a tool for managing peak demand in the local public transport, integrating the offer through the optimization of services managed by sharing mobility operators.
