Meet me tonight - The researchers' night

The project
As part of the “Excellent Science – Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions” Axis of the 2020 European Program for the creation of the “European Researchers' Night call 2018-2019, the presentation of projects for the organization of “Researchers' Night call is promoted ” 2018 and 2019 edition, aimed at bringing researchers closer to the general public and increasing awareness of research and innovation activities, in order to support public recognition of researchers, creating an understanding of the impact of researchers' work on the daily lives of citizens, and encouraging young people to pursue careers in research.

The beneficiaries of the project will be students of any age, young people, all people interested in the world of research, its developments and its applications in daily life, the researchers themselves, the research centers involved and the scientific museums of the Municipality of Milan (Natural History Museum, Aquarium and Planetarium), citizens in general.

  •  The implementation of scientific research in all its forms, through the promotion of collaborations between all the subjects involved in research in the area, a purpose consistent with the Administration's objectives of internationalizing the city, and of attracting students, in particular foreigners, thanks to the promotion of local excellence and therefore of public interest.
  •  Raise awareness among as many people as possible about the European Researchers' Night and its objectives.
  •  Attract as many people as possible to organized events.
