Extraordinary maintenance of the M2 line
Since June 2019, the road section of via Pacini between via Bottesini and via Teodosio towards Piazza Piola has been affected by the construction site for the rehabilitation works of the Metro Line 2 tunnel between the Piola and Lambrate stations.

The works last two years and are necessary to ensure the impermeability of the tunnel, affected by the raising of the water table.

Construction phases

• January 2020 - July 2020

1. closure of the roadway on the odd-numbered side of via Pacini towards piazza Piola, between via Bottesini and via Teodosio

• 1 August 2020 - 15 September 2020

1. closure to traffic from numbers 53 to 63 and from 37 to 31 (access is permitted to the car park at number 53 and to residents of number 37)

• 11 September 2020 - 31 May 2021

1. deviation of line 39 on the route: via Brocchi, via Vallazze, viale Lombardia

• 15 September 2020 - 31 May 2021

1. closure to traffic from numbers 33 to 17.
2. traffic diversion on the route: via Teodosio, via Vallazze, viale Lombardia
3. from 29 March to 14 April 2021, the interventions include the closure of via Poggi at the intersection of via Pacini to traffic, with access permitted to residents from via Vallazze and via Betteloni.
   On 1 and 8 April via Poggi will be reopened to allow the via Ampère market.

Useful Information

• Pedestrian access to condominiums, commercial establishments and the walkability of the sidewalk are guaranteed
• In via Pacini, for the entire period, parking is prohibited for vehicles in the sections affected by the construction site
• Surface public transport is guaranteed, with limited route diversions and stop relocations
• Protective measures are adopted to protect the trees present.
