The portal services Area B they will be accessible from February 29th only with SPID, CIE or company ID
The current login method via username and password will no longer be in use. If you are already registered on the site with a user and password you will be able to access your profile with SPID, CIE or company ID without losing the data entered.

Access without registration to the Area B online platform
- velocipedes
- ambulances
- Armed Forces vehicles, of the Police Forces, of the Local Police, of the Italian Red Cross, of the Hospitals, of the ATS, of the Fire Brigade, of the Civil Protection that are recognizable by the automatic access systems by virtue of the special license plate
- vehicles with disability badge issued by the Municipality of Milan whose owner is on board the vehicle, as this requirement is carried out at the time of issuing the Disabled Pass
Access with vehicle registration required to the Area B online platform (see the section on this page Use the services)
- vehicles with disability permit issued outside Milan, whose owner is on board the vehicle and whose license plate has been communicated before use through mandatory registration (for further information visit Mobility - Services for disabilities)
- vehicles for specific transport permanently equipped with special equipment for the transport of physically disabled people
- registration must be completed before accessing the ZTL
- the validity period of the license plate registration starts from the day of inclusion in the Area B online service, is correlated to the legal availability of the vehicle, and cannot exceed the maximum limit of 1 year
- vehicles owned or used exclusively by the Armed Forces, to the Police Forces, to the Local Police, to the Associations that carry out recognized first aid activities or planned or emergency socio-health transport, to the Hospitals, to the ATS, to the Fire Brigade, to the recognized organizations operating in the field of civil protection they are not recognizable by automatic access detection systems
Attach the following documentation:
- vehicle registration certificate (in the case of organizations operating in the field of Civil Protection, "the use of Civil Protection" must be indicated on the registration certificate)
- delivery report for leased or rental vehicles.
Registration must be completed before accessing the ZTL.
The validity period of the license plate registration starts from the day of inclusion in the Area B online service, is correlated to the legal availability of the vehicle, and cannot exceed the maximum limit of 1 year
- vehicles owned or in exclusive use by bodies recognized by the municipal administration of Milan or by other designated institutions that act in the social health care sector for the provision of free first aid and public assistance services whose place of service is within the Municipality of Milan.
Attach the following documentation:
- vehicle registration certificate
- delivery report for leased or rental vehicles
- copy of the legal title necessary to verify the availability of an operational headquarters within the AreaB ZTL.
Registration must be completed before accessing the ZTL.
The validity period of the license plate registration starts from the day of inclusion in the Area B online service, is correlated to the legal availability of the vehicle, and cannot exceed the maximum limit of 1 year.
Consult the registration document and check:
- vehicle class: the reference field is J. "Light vehicles" are classified as M1 and N1, the remainder fall into the "Heavy vehicles" category
- particulate emissions value: the reference field is V.5
