Area B | Exceptions for specific transport and special use
Some features - such as the installation of the DPF or the valorisation of the V.5 field on the registration document - allow you to postpone the entry into force of the Area B bans for vehicles dedicated to the transport of goods.
The owners of vehicles used for specific transport/special use fueled by diesel who have a DPF or for which it is not possible to install a DPF must send communication to the postal address MTA.AreaB@comune.milano.it.
Documents to send:
- vehicle registration certificate
- delivery report for leased or rental vehicles
- certification regarding the impossibility of installing the DPF issued by the vehicle manufacturer reporting the vehicle chassis number
or (if installed) certification of installation of the DPF, if not indicated on the registration document.
Only for vehicles also subject to the traffic restrictions in force in the Lombardy Region, it is possible to complete the permit request if they have joined the MoVe-In project in the Lombardy territorial area.
Owners of vehicles whose registration document in field V.5 does not show any value can demonstrate the vehicle's compliance with Area B regulations by sending a communication to the postal address MTA.AreaB@comune.milano.it.
Documentation to be sent and attached via email to the waiver request
- Homologation certificate, produced by the vehicle manufacturer, with evidence of the particulate emissions value (field V5).
Vehicle owners:
- who have installed a After-market DPF, a plant LPG/Methane
- for which structural changes have occurred which lead to the postponement of the entry into force of the Area B bans
they can demonstrate compliance with the traffic rules of the road regulations by sending the updated registration certificate to the postal address MTA.AreaB@comune.milano.it.
