The portal services Area B they will be accessible from February 29th only with SPID, CIE or company ID
The current login method via username and password will no longer be in use. If you are already registered on the site with a user and password you will be able to access your profile with SPID, CIE or company ID without losing the data entered.

Area B | Exceptions for vehicles over m. 12
Vehicles - or vehicle complexes - with a length exceeding m. 12 cannot access or circulate in Area B.
Remember:
- for vehicle complexes it is necessary to request the exemption for both the tractor plate and the trailer/semi-trailer plate;
- it is possible to request multiple exemptions by inserting permits for a single license plate or groups of license plates in order to significantly reduce the size of the attachments to be transmitted.
The vehicles listed on this page may obtain an exemption from the ban.
To request the exemption you must have an active profile on Area B platform e have registered the vehicle to be waived.
This exemption concerns i operational vehicles of institutions, companies, companies providing public services in the field of gas, electricity and thermal energy, water, lighting, transport, telecommunications, environmental hygiene, waste collection.

Following the registration of vehicles used for roadside assistance, the data will be verified by the Municipality of Milan through computer links to the database of the Business Registry of the Motorisation.
The data of vehicles used for the transport of valuables who register in Area B are verified by the Municipality of Milan through computer links to the Company Registry database of the Chamber of Commerce.
Also vehicles used for postal service must register online.

The data of vehicles owned or used by companies with operational headquarters within Milan they are verified by the Municipality of Milan through computer links to the Company Registry databases of the Chamber of Commerce and Motor Vehicles.
Ai vehicles for the transport of indivisible material Registration on the Area B website is required.

This exemption allows access and movement in Area B vehicles for the transport of perishable foodstuffs.

The exemption concerns i vehicles used to carry out work directed at companies and transport recipients with operational headquarters in Milan.

Registration for Area B is required vehicles directed within areas or delimited areas of construction sites located within Milan.

For vehicles used for the transport of materials used on construction sites, indicate the license plate number and the name of the owner of the vehicle.
Validity of the exemption
- Registration of the license plate must take place within 30 days of first entering Area B
- the validity period of the license plate registration cannot exceed the maximum limit of one year.
- subsequent renewals must be requested by midnight of the day following access to or circulation in Area B and will always have a maximum validity of one year.
Limits of the exemption
Registration of the license plate does not derogate the vehicle:
- from the access and circulation ban in force based on its environmental performance when Area B is active
- from any more restrictive provisions regulating access to Area C and to the preferential lanes reserved for public transport located within Area B.
