Area B | Basic exemption for citizens, visitors, businesses
All vehicles can benefit from some exemption days, regardless of their environmental class, as long as they do not violate the regulations defined by the Regional Air Quality Intervention Plan
Days available for all types of vehicles already prohibited
- residents owners/users of passenger transport vehicles: 25 days
- non-residents owners/users of passenger transport vehicles: 5 days
- companies with operational headquarters Milan with vehicle registered/available to the company and intended for the transport of goods: 25 days
- companies with operational headquarters outside Milan with vehicle registered/available to the company and intended for the transport of goods: 5 days.
The exemption days must be requested via the Area B portal, permits section -> new permit by 23.59pm on the following day of any access or circulation in Area B.
- To request the exemption you must have an active profile on Area B platform and have registered the vehicle to be exempted.
