Building regulations

Il Building regulations of the Municipality of Milan, effective November 26, 2014, was adopted by the City Council with Resolution no. 9 (council meeting of 14 April 2014), approved by the City Council with Resolution no. 27 (council meeting of 2 October 2014) and updated with Council Resolution no. 2542 of 29 December 2015 and with Management Resolution no. 8 of 3 February 2016. 

On December 21, 2018, it was proceedings started relating to the drafting of the new Building Regulations in compliance with the "Schema of Standard Building Regulations" and the "Uniform Technical Definitions" approved with Regional Council Resolution no. XI/695.

From 30 April 2019 the "Uniform Technical Definitions (DTU)" came into force in construction matters, pursuant to the DGRL of 24 October 2018 n. XI/695, having no impact on urban planning dimensional forecasts.
For definitions having an impact on urban planning dimensional forecasts, please refer to the effectiveness of the PGT (art. 5 Urban planning definitions and parameters of the Implementation Rules of the Rules Plan). 

The deadlines for submitting the static suitability certificate have been postponed to 31 March 2022 referred to in the art. 11 paragraph 6 of the Building Regulations in alignment with the extensions referred to in Legislative Decrees nos. 52 and 105 of 2021 and subsequent extensions of the state of emergency (Managerial Resolution no. 7050 of 2 September 2021).

The cases indicated in the art. 151 "Transitional rule" will be governed by the previous Regulation.
