In the case of internal modifications to an apartment, is the entrance to the living area a "circulation space" excluded from the living space? Is it subject to the RAI calculation?

In the hallway spaces with horizontal and vertical circulation within the individual real estate units (such as corridors and internal stairs) pursuant to art. 102 of the current R.E. ventilation can be indirect, therefore not included in the RAI calculation if functionally and physically defined by fixed elements (walls).

Otherwise the disengagement must comply with the art. 105 of the R.E. (Natural and direct lighting requirements) whereby: "direct natural lighting can be of the perimeter or zenithal type or mixed in accessible rooms, this requirement is considered satisfied when (...) for residential environments the distance between the window and door and the point farthest from this on the floor of each individual room does not exceed 2.5 times the height from the ground of the highest point of the window surface."
