For violations of the Sewerage Regulations and the 1999 Building Regulations the City Council has imposed the following administrative sanctions:

Upon the first assessment, depending on the type of violation, the sanction is applied at a reduced rate, while when the violation is repeated a double amount is applied. If the violation persists, the maximum measure will apply.

For discharges without authorization or when this has lapsed or when a discharge continues when the authorization has been suspended or revoked, the sanction provided for by Legislative Decree 152/06 art. 133 (from €6.000 to €60.000 for buildings located in an area served by sewerage and from €600 to €3.000 for isolated residential buildings).
