Monumental fountains

As part of the Green Agriculture and Urban Furnishings Area, this Unit deals with the maintenance and management of the monuments' fountains and headstones. 

Guastalla fishpond

La fishpond it is located inside the Gardens, towards via Francesco Sforza. It's in style barocco, with a sinuous and symmetrical plan; it is surrounded in the upper part by a stone balustrade, in the lower part by a wrought iron railing; the intermediate space forms a walkway, accessible via four descending staircases located on the four main axes.

The Peschiera basin is made of plastered masonry, a smooth concrete bottom, decorative structures in pink Baveno granite and a stone balustrade with parts reconstructed in decorative concrete.
