Senigallia neighborhood project

The new public housing district - located on the edge of the Comasina and Bruzzano districts - is made up of five buildings that delimit a large public space that forms a common square. The square, facing via Senigallia, opens towards the nearby school district, and more generally towards the existing town.

The new construction is characterized by the presence of residential spaces - n. 104 apartments intended for the needs of public residential construction, according to a structure that responds to different needs (80 apartments to be rented at social rent and 24 at subsidized rent). Spaces for urban functions compatible with residence such as offices, bars, commercial-productive activities and spaces for diversified services both according to the new settlement and the needs of the urban context.

Spaces have therefore been provided to host personal and community services. Supplementary services to the residence and a protected residential structure, with social-welfare purposes, thus promoting - through the assignment of the structure and spaces to a subject to be identified with a public tender - a project that integrates care paths for vulnerable subjects under the socio-health profile with social and productive inclusion and, at the same time, take the opportunity to integrate living in the neighborhood with the offer of services, the development of sociability and openness towards the city. 

In addition to the large central courtyard/square, the neighborhood is also equipped with green open spaces, part of which is intended for the creation of gardens or vegetable patches. The new settlement is also equipped with underground parking for residents, accessible from via Senigallia.
