Ovada neighborhood project

The project - part of the International Living Competition in Milan with the areas of via Civitavecchia, via Gallarate and via Senigallia - led to the redevelopment of the area between via Ovada, the San Paolo Hospital and via San Vigilio, through the construction of two residential buildings and a large area designated as a public park. The two buildings, for a total of 121 accommodations of various types, aesthetically different from each other, overlook Via Ovada, leaving the entrance to the park free, guaranteeing practicability, continuity and visibility. An adequate number of underground parking spaces have been provided for the residence, accessible from via Ovada.

The realization of this intervention provides the city with a new public park, of approximately 10.000 mXNUMX, which connects the two districts of Barona and S. Ambrogio from via Ovada to via San Vigilio. The new park is characterized by the versatility of use of the green spaces, organized in free areas where it is possible to practice sports and recreational activities. An inclined plane will allow access to the green area, without obstacles and directly from Via Ovada.

The new services planned favor the link between the new residences and the local social fabric, with the aim of strengthening the overall urban quality of the neighbourhood. The works have been completed.
