Civitavecchia neighborhood project

The project - part of the International Living Competition in Milan with the areas of via Ovada, via Gallarate and via Senigallia - involved the construction of residential buildings, a new public park, commercial activities and services dedicated to the neighborhood and the city. The park, of approximately 14.500 mXNUMX, creates continuity between the city and the Lambro Park. The ultimate objectives of the project are to encourage the residential and urban development of this area and to attract new commercial activities.

From the MM2 Verde - Crescenzago subway exit, the greenery of the park along via Civitavecchia is immediately visible, as well as on the hanging gardens of the municipal tower house, a particular element of the intervention.

The four buildings envisaged by the project, for a total of 110 accommodations of various types, have four/five floors and are located on the border between the square overlooking Via Cazzaniga and the park. The continuity between park and city is the dominant theme of the new structures, especially on an architectural level and especially in the ground floors which are strongly integrated with the greenery.

The public areas have been equipped and favor the revitalization of this area. Priority was given to reception and refreshment for resident citizens, for the new RCS tertiary center and for the sports and recreational "tourism" of the park.
