A new initiative to support housing emergencies, with the aim of offering an initial response to evicted people and families in difficulty with adequate housing accommodation, even of a temporary nature, at low costs, integrated with support activities to deal with the emergency and accompany the family towards a stable housing solution.

The following municipally owned properties are dedicated to this initiative:

  • via Antonini n. 36: made up of n. 13 real estate units (in addition to the cellars and relevant parking spaces), of which: 1 unit has a reception function and 12 housing units are intended for temporary rental (six months, max one year);
  • Ortles avenue  n. 71: made up of n. 2 residential units intended for temporary rental (six months, max one year), also in cohabitation (for a total of 4 beds), with services and common areas;
  • via Celio n. 11: made up of n. 6 residential units (in addition to the relevant cellars and 5 garages), intended for normal urban rental.

For accommodation intended for temporary rental, the beneficiaries are identified by the Municipality through the procedures relating to the housing emergency. For housing intended for urban rental, the beneficiaries are identified by the Municipality within the open rankings for access to moderate-rent or subsidized-rent housing.
 
According to the directions of the Municipal Council, the Administration has established a Guarantee fund, of the amount of 20 thousand euros per year, to cover any particular difficulty of the beneficiaries in meeting the payment of the rent and additional charges relating to the housing units.
