Water Houses
To encourage the use of drinking water supplied by the aqueduct and reduce pollution linked to the use of plastic bottles, the Municipality of Milan has installed the Water Houses.
Most were installed starting from 2013, the others were recovered from the Expo site. Their operation is the responsibility of M.M. S.p.A., as manager of the Integrated Water Service.
What do the Water Houses supply?
The systems supply fresh, still and sparkling water.
How is water collected?
The service is free and accessible to all citizens in possession of a Regional/National Services Card, or Health Card.
