Milan, July 13 2022 – Nine days of extraordinary opening, starting from today, Wednesday 13 July, and until Wednesday 21 September, to discover the curiosities, scents and colors of the "Aurelia Josz" Botanical Museum through a series of visits (guided or free). Nine opportunities to involve and raise awareness among citizens to respect greenery and nature and spread a new culture to protect the environment, as well as enjoying a magical place capable of surprising visitors of all ages.

The summer opening calendar includes: two appointments in July (13th and 27th), four in August (3, 10, 24 and 31) and three in September (7, 14, 21).

Hours: from 10 to 11 guided tours, from 10 to 12 free visits. All guided or free visits during the nine days are free upon reservation at the following contacts: by writing to museo.botanico@comune.milano.it or by calling the number 02 884 44979, from 9am to 30pm.
 
The "Aurelia Josz" Botanical Museum is an observatory, an evolving laboratory that produces culture and stimuli, dedicated to the discovery of plant life, naturalistic education and respect for public green areas. The protagonists are the spontaneous ecosystems of the Po Valley, their biodiversity, their interaction with the urban environment, as well as agriculture, both global and Lombard, and its history which speaks of the relationships between humans, the plant world and the territory.

The Museum extends over an area of ​​24.000 m2 and is located in via Rodolfo Margaria 1. It is easily reachable by public transport (trams 4 and 5, buses 51 and 83, MM3 Dergano and Maciachini).
