Green. The plantings of the week
Milan, 10 December 2019 - The Administration's planting plan continues throughout the city which will bring over 20.000 new trees to every neighborhood between November and March. There are 434 new specimens that Miami Scarl, greenery manager for the Municipality of Milan, will plant this week. Here are the details:
Mun. 3 - via Rubattino (green street furniture) – 17 trees (of which 11 Acer campestre and 6 Acer royal red)
Mun. 4 - via Bonfadini-Medici del Vascello green area – 15 Ginkgo biloba
Mun. 4 - via Mecenate-Hungarian ring road junction – 12 Cercis
Mun. 4 - via Salomone-Quintiliano playground – 40 trees (of which 24 Acer ginnala and 16 Tilia cordata)
Mun. 4 - Forlanini Park – 31 Platanus spp
Mun. 4 - Pontinia overpass – 30 Acer ginnala
Mun. 4 - via Zama-Solomone park – 22 trees (of which 16 Acer royal red and 6 Sophora japonica pendula)
Mun. 5 - via Chopin 52 – 17 Platanus spp
Mun. 5 - Nosedo purification park – 26 Prunus avium
Mun. 6 - Andrea Campagna Park (formerly Barona Park in Via Campari) – 48 trees (of which 5 Fraxinus excelsior, 2 Koelreuteria paniculata, 12 Prunus avium plena, 9 Tilia argentea, 20 Tilia cordata greenspire)
