Green. Gardens of via Dezza, the redevelopment begins with the intervention of Enel Energia

Milan, March 27 2021 – The redevelopment works of the gardens of via Dezza are starting these days, as part of the “Care and Adopt Public Green” project. The intervention will be carried out by Enel Energia.

The works, which will continue for the next 2-3 months, will restore a more beautiful and welcoming park to the community: the soccer field and the basketball court, now deteriorated, will be redeveloped with new flooring, respectively in synthetic grass and in resin, and the laying of a new safety net and new basketball hoops. The play area will also be redeveloped with new flooring and new games to welcome children in safety, as well as the installation of new benches. Work will also be done on the dog area, with the resurfacing of the lawn and the insertion of a waste bag dispenser. Finally, the hedge that outlines the garden will be redeveloped.

“We thank Enel Energia for choosing to contribute to the care of a very popular garden. The pandemic has shown us how the presence of well-kept and green public spaces is increasingly important for the quality of life in the city - declares the green councilor Pierfrancesco Maran -. We are confident that as soon as conditions permit, the redeveloped garden will be greatly appreciated by adults and children in the neighborhood and, soon, also by the many Milanese who will pass through the area thanks to the opening of the stop on the new M4 underground line".

"Here we are! In a few days we will start with the redevelopment work on the gardens of Via Dezza, the contribution that Enel Energia offers to the city of Milan to look to the future with hope. We will give the city back a new, welcoming, inclusive space, where children can play safely and citizens, as soon as possible, start meeting again. We are enormously grateful to the municipal administration for offering us this opportunity - declares Nicola Lanzetta, Head of Enel Mercato Italia -. Working together to rebuild trust, so that the Milanese can regain open spaces in complete safety is a source of great pride for us. Now full steam ahead with the execution of the works which will take place in a short time."
