Over a thousand plants in all the municipalities of the city kick off the 19/20 agronomic season which will bring 20 thousand specimens. Possible variations in case of bad weather
 
Milan, November 19 2019 – “Trees in every neighborhood” starts tomorrow, the six days of planting that will bring over 1.000 of the over 20.000 new specimens expected by March to the city. Below are the main events that will involve councilors, municipalities, schools, associations and private companies.
20 November
- 14.30 pm: planting of 10 trees in the courtyard of the public housing in via Vergiate 5-22, with the support of MM. The councilor for Housing and Social Policies Gabriele Rabaiotti will be present
- 15.30 pm: planting of 6 trees in the courtyard of the public housing in via Visconti 10-12 with the support of MM. The councilor for Housing and Social Policies Gabriele Rabaiotti will be present
- 16.30 pm: planting of 22 trees in the Galli Park with the presentation of the overall intervention carried out in the park and a story of the tree day in the presence of representatives of the Municipality and the restyling partner committees
- from 7am to 16pm: planting of 25 trees in the Vettabbia Park
- morning: planting of 22 trees between via Giambellino and via Brunelleschi as part of the SeMiniAmo project promoted by the Municipality of Milan and Zack Goodman

21 November
- 9.15 am: planting of a tree at the Simone Martini nursery. Education councilor Laura Galimberti will be present
- 10.30 am: planting of 30 trees in the Lambro park (entrance via Cazzaniga). Green councilor Pierfrancesco Maran will be present
- 10.30 am: planting of a tree in via De Sanctis with the La Bottega association and representatives of the Municipality
- 11.30 am: planting of 30 trees in Verga Park by Euromilano, with the involvement of schools and neighborhood associations (entrance via Giulio Confalonieri)
- morning: planting of 100 trees at Boscoincittà by Italia Nostra
- morning: planting of 100 trees in the North Park, in the area near the velodrome, by Legambiente
- 14.15 pm: planting of 4 trees in front of the Triennale di Milano in viale Alemagna on the occasion of the World Forum on Urban Forests - Milano Calling 2019
- 15.30 pm: planting of 5 trees at the Via Caduti di Pace school with activities for children
 
22 November
- from 7am to 16pm: planting of 40 trees in the park of Villa Finzi
- from 8am to 17pm: planting of 400 trees and shrubs in via Feltre by Ersaf as part of the ReLambro 2 project. Between 11.30am and 12.30pm, the pupils of the Munari primary school will participate. The children will watch the planting of the plants followed by some Ersaf experts for a short ecological-naturalistic lesson
- During the day: planting of 50 trees in via Argelati by Calciocity
 
23 November
- morning: planting of the first 20 trees in Piazza Sant'Agostino with the collaboration of Zack Goodman as part of SeMiniAmo. Councilor Pierfrancesco Maran (Green) will be present
- morning: planting of 6 trees along the parterre of via Giambellino
- from 7am to 16pm: planting of 42 trees in the Esplanade Garden
- 10.30 am: planting of 100 trees in the Parco Nord promoted by Triennale Milano as part of the World Forum on Urban Forests - Milano Calling 2019
 
24th November
- morning: planting of 130 trees at the Cassinis park in Rogoredo by Italia Nostra
- 9 am: planting of a tree in Piazza Corvetto by Italia Nostra as part of the collaboration agreements. Councilors Pierfrancesco Maran (Green) and Lorenzo Lipparini (Participation) will be present
- Full day: planting of 120 plants in the Segantini park, promoted by the Segantini Park Association with the involvement of citizens and children.

25 November
- from 7am to 16pm: planting of 75 trees between via Viterbo and via Bentivoglio
- 10 am: planting of 40 trees in via Lampugnano with the participation of some students
- morning: after the ceremony at Bocconi in the presence of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, the tree-lined flowerbeds of the Campus will be inaugurated
Furthermore, thanks to cost-cutting interventions, the first 75 of the 312 trees planned in Merezzate (Investire sgr) arrive on these days, over 30 trees between via Niccolini, via Bramante and via Ceresio (Porta Volta Srl), 26 trees between the streets Domodossola, Duilio, Gattamelata and Carlo Magno (Citylife), 23 in via Schievano (Land srl) and 29 in via Rizzoli, along the cycle path (ProgInvest srl).

Planting activities may be modified in case of bad weather.
