Milan, 30 April 2021 – From an unused and inaccessible place to a "secret garden" nestled between buildings, to be created with the ideas and collaboration of the neighborhood. Work began this morning for the restoration and cleaning of an area of ​​Viale Monza, a fenced space located at number 322 characterized by large trees. The activities, which concern the mowing of spontaneous brushwood, will continue in the next few days, while at a later stage Amsa will remove the waste present, with the aim of restoring the healthiness of the area and preparing it for its "new life".

"It is a space that was reported to us by the Villa San Giovanni neighborhood committee and which I immediately found very fascinating, also for this reason we immediately took action with these works. We want to make this area usable as soon as possible - declares the councilor Green Pierfrancesco Maran -. The availability of green spaces is fundamental from the perspective of the city 15 minutes away on viale Monza 322. When the restoration works are completed together with the neighborhood associations we want to think, together with Lorenzo Lipparini's Department, on how to make this secret garden a shared garden available to all".
