The public notice for the composition of working groups is online. Maran: “The indications will help us define the guidelines for tenders and competitions for the development of the city”

Milan, November 1 2019 – The regeneration of Piazzale Loreto and the Corso Venezia–via Padova–viale Monza system, the development of areas intended for new social residential housing, the rethinking of the areas relating to interchange nodes such as Bovisa: these are some of the main objectives of Milan 2030 contained in the Territorial Government Plan.

To define the guidelines of the calls and competitions, including the new edition of the international call promoted by C40 Reinventing Cities, which the Municipality will launch for the design of the master plans of the new areas, a public notice is open aimed at academics and experts with specific knowledge of the local Milanese reality, individual citizens or those gathered in associations and committees who will be able to make contributions and suggestions through specific working groups.

“The city has already made a great contribution to the definition of Milan 2030 through observations to the PGT – declares the councilor for Urban Planning Pierfrancesco Maran –. We are now entering the operational phase and the indications from the territory and from experts in the various themes will be fundamental in helping us define the basis of the design competitions that will lead to the redesign of strategic areas of the city. The Loreto axis is one of the themes we want to start with first."
