Milan, July 6 2021 – Good news for the Bruzzano neighborhood. This morning, in the presence of the Mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala and the councilors Pierfrancesco Maran (Urban Planning) and Marco Granelli (Mobility) and the representatives of the Finleonardo Group, the reclamation and demolition activities of the first of the two abandoned buildings, once known as Residence Leonardo da Vinci, in via Senigallia.

The intervention, much awaited by residents, will improve the environmental quality and liveability of the neighborhood, and is carried out by the Finleonardo Group, which recently acquired the property which had remained unused for approximately twenty years and subject to improper occupation. The activities will continue with the reclamation of the area, the demolition of both buildings and the clearance of all waste materials and will be concluded by the end of the year.

The intention of the property is to build new residences in its place characterized by high environmental and energy characteristics, foreseeing the reduction of the current volumes. The preliminary project will soon be submitted to the Municipality, which will also evaluate the public works to be carried out for the neighborhood at the same time as the intervention.
