Urban planning. The redevelopment of via Rubattino 84 has been approved

Milan, 15 December 2019 – Green light for the redevelopment of a former post-war quarry on the border between Milan and Segrate. The Administration has approved the Integrated Intervention Program (IIP) relating to the areas of via Rubattino 84.  
The project, headed by the company BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management Italy, a savings management company P.A. on behalf of the Real Estate Fund called "Club Deal", concerns an unused area of ​​66.420 square meters on the south side of via Rubattino, where a single-storey building will be built which will host a mix of commercial functions for a maximum of 17.000 gross floor area. and a multi-storey building intended for hospitality and/or tertiary functions (6.247 square meters of surface area), for a total surface area of ​​23.247 square metres.

At the same time, some functional interventions will also be carried out in the neighboring neighborhoods by deducting costs: a tree-lined public car park for around 550 spaces in front of the new commercial structure, the green development of 6.127 square meters on the axis of via Rubattino with first-rate trees, the complete reorganization of the area in front of the Lambrate railway station through a public car park between via Predil and the railway embankment, the arrangement of the bus terminal in front of the station, the creation of a cycle path between via Rodano and Piazzale Monte Titano and the redevelopment of via Predil with the creation of a roundabout at the entrance to the car parks.
