Urban planning. Observations at the PGT begin, for the first time also online

One month to submit your requests to the Plan. Maran and Lipparini: "Fundamental phase of participation, we will express our opinion on all of them before the final approval of the Plan"

Milan, June 15 2019 – Today starts the useful period for citizens, associations, municipalities, stakeholders and anyone who wants to make their contribution to the vision of Milan 2030, to present observations on the Territorial Government Plan, adopted by the City Council on 5 March. To make this phase as participatory and shared as possible, for the first time it will be possible to present your requests online.
In fact, a special service has been set up for compiling and sending observations online, accessible both from the web pages of the site www.pgt.comune.milano.it  and from the maps published on the Geoportal in the PGT MILAN 2030 section
https://geoportale.comune.milano.it/sit/milano-2030-piano-di-governo-del-territorio-adottato/.

“In every phase of drafting the Plan we worked for the maximum involvement of citizens, categories and associations - declares the Urban Planning councilor Pierfrancesco Maran -. The observation phase is fundamental because we must express our opinion on all those that arrive before the final approval in the City Council."

"Citizens have the PGT available in digital version, with maps and tables that can be consulted on the Geoportal of the Municipality of Milan and all the textual documents readable in open format on the dedicated website. Both tools allow interactive consultation of the contents and allow citizens to insert your observations by clicking directly in the area of interest, writing and drawing - declares the councilor for Participation, Active Citizenship and Open Data Lorenzo Lipparini - It is a big step forward in the direction of an open, transparent, digital and participatory, which from today is equipped with a new tool to carry out consultations on the plan documents in the future as well and which will allow immediate and professional use of the PGT that will be adopted".

Observations can be sent by anyone who is interested: citizens and professionals in their own name or by proxy, businesses, bodies and associations. To access the online procedure, it is sufficient to be in possession of SPID, the public digital identity system, or to be registered on the institutional portal of the Municipality of Milan with a Complete Profile.

The procedure involves completing the personal data and inserting the text of the observation (maximum five thousand characters) and any attached documentation. The service allows you to insert your comments and suggestions directly into the text or into the maps, indicating the address or specific point of interest, writing it by clicking on the appropriate speech bubble icon or identifying it on the map.
There remains the possibility of submitting observations via PEC to the address observationspgt@postacert.comune.milano.it  and in paper format, delivering the documentation in duplicate on plain paper to the Protocol of the General Urban Planning Area located in via GB Pirelli 30, on the 12th floor, open to the public from Monday to Wednesday from 10 am to 12 pm. AND In both cases it is necessary to attach a copy of a valid identity document and the authorization to process the personal data provided with the request for the completion of the procedure in question.

The observations, which can be presented until 12pm on 15 July 2019, will subsequently be subjected to scrutiny by the Administration, which in September will bring the text, integrated with the requests received, to the City Council for approval.
