Ukraine. Saturday 30 April at Casa Jannacci a workshop for people fleeing the war and a reflection on city initiatives

Milan, 29 April 2022 - On Saturday 30 April, at 15 pm, at Casa Jannacci in viale Ortles 30, as part of the Welfare Forum of the Municipality of Milan, the meeting "Milan Helps: the Ukrainian emergency as an opportunity to reflect on the future" will be held. The city's response to welcoming everyone." 

Speakers will include representatives of the municipal and municipal administration and representatives of the third sector and city institutions who have taken action in recent months to address the emergency: Davide Bessegato (Solidando / IBVA), Valentina La Terza (Refugees Welcome Italia), Claudio Longhi (Piccolo Teatro di Milano), Valentina Polizzi (Save the Children), Giovanni Raulli (Spazio Aperto Servizi).

During the meeting, some initiatives organized by the third sector and the Municipality of Milan for the reception and integration of Ukrainian refugees will be presented, but the afternoon will also be an opportunity to reflect on the responses to be given to all people fleeing wars , famine and poverty and on how to consolidate the solidarity networks that were created to deal with the health emergency first and that of Ukraine more recently. 
The Piccolo Teatro will also offer a preview of "Diario Futuro, a theatrical reception laboratory" a project for people and stories fleeing from war which will then be developed for the months of May and June. After a brief introduction by Claudio Longhi, around 16pm, Renata Lacko, on the violin, and Anna Bodnar, on the accordion, will accompany songs and poems of the Ukrainian tradition interpreted by Diana Linchuk, Katerina Powell, and Valeriia Reshetnik (guest students of the Luca Ronconi School of the Piccolo Teatro of Milan). 
The actors of Zoo, Sergio Blanco's show, currently on stage at the Teatro Grassi, will participate in the inauguration with a special tribute: Lino Guanciale, Sara Putignano and Lorenzo Grilli. 
The afternoon will end at Casa Jannacci with the workshop activities, curated by Michele Dell'Utri, which will then continue in the months of May and June. At the end of the event, a snack dedicated to the little ones.
