Ukraine. The new hub for refugee orientation is in via Sammartini

Milan, June 11 2022 - The new hub dedicated to the first contact and assistance of Ukrainian refugees arriving in the city to escape the war will be built in via Sammartini 126.

Starting from October, the spaces (336 square metres) will be made available to the Administration on free loan by Grandi Stazioni, in place of the Mortirolo underpass currently in use.

The new hub will be built, in agreement with the Prefecture and Regional Civil Protection, next to the Sammartini Center which acts as a single access point for all services dedicated to the homeless. The Municipality will have to, through a public notice, identify a manager of the space.
In this regard, in recent days a proposal was received from the Progetto Arca Foundation, in agreement with the Fiera Milano Foundation. The Administration will then verify, through the public notice of free loan for use, whether there are parties interested in presenting competing and improving proposals.
