Tourism. The councilors of the tourist cities to Minister Franceschini: "Immediate measures for the sector and a dedicated working group"

Milan, 9 April 2020 – "It is necessary to intervene promptly in the tourism sector, to address the immediate effects of the emergency and the consequent elimination of tourist flows, and to manage the future of tourism in Italy".

This is the appeal launched by the tourism councilors of the 14 main Italian tourist cities to the Minister of Tourism Dario Franceschini. In a letter, the councilors Paolo Marasca (Ancona), Ines Pierucci (Bari), Matteo Lepore (Bologna), Alessandro Sorgia (Cagliari), Cecilia Del Re (Florence), Laura Gaggero (Genoa), Marianna Dimona (Matera), Roberta Guaineri (Milan), Eleonora De Majo (Naples), Leoluca Orlando (Palermo), Cristiano Casa (Parma), Carlo Cafarotti (Rome), Alberto Sacco (Turin), Paola Mar (Venice) represented to the minister the dramatic situation in which pours the tourism industry into the respective cities and related metropolitan areas.
