Tourism. A series of interactive seminars for sector operators is underway
Milan, 2 April 2020 – The series of interactive seminars organized by the Tourism Department of the Municipality of Milan in collaboration with Milano&Partners and dedicated to tourist operators to help them learn more about our city and be ready to give the right advice to their customers has begun. Over 70 operators have already joined the initiative, belonging to the Association of hotel concierges and front offices The Golden Keys and ConfGuide-GITEC.
“A training project designed to make virtuous use of this suspended period – explains Roberta Guaineri, Councilor for Tourism – by updating those operators in the tourism supply chain who carry out a valuable job by first welcoming visitors to hotel facilities and those who then accompany them to discover the artistic, architectural and monumental heritage of our beautiful city".
The lessons, lasting approximately fifteen minutes, will be held twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. After today's first appointment, entitled "Tourism policies of the city of Milan" held by councilor Guaineri, there will be two lessons by Luca Martinazzoli, director of Milano&Partners, on the international promotion strategies of the city. Then the training will continue with lessons to discover places and institutions of the city: from the Museum of Science and Technology to the Ambrosiana Library and from the Triennale to San Maurizio. To end with insights dedicated to the individual municipalities of the city.
